Dior 24Ss all-over monogram jacquard short-sleeve top, originally purchased for 7,700, is made from a 280g pure cotton jacquard fabric with a 21s plain weave base. It's woven on a special German gamma circular terry machine with 28 needles, and the base is not fluffed for optimal adhesion. The printing surface is printed on an imported cotton direct-injection machine using a reactive digital process. The color is fixed twice and then evaporated and washed. The soft, breathable, and well-placed print ensures each pattern is perfectly reproduced. Full-width, aligned burnout and matching pieces ensure high color fidelity. Repeated test pieces adjust for color variations before the base is fluffed for a second time to finalize. The front panel features horizontal bars for positioning the jacquard pattern, and the pattern is hand-cut with laser alignment. The back panel features a wave pattern, with the front and back panels cut in the same direction of the hairline. This fully hand-matched pattern ensures it looks great worn as a base layer or alone.
