Please understand! My first perfume of summer, Prada Bitter Orange Citrus, is a super summery, golden fragrance with a truly orange and tangerine color! Finding the right perfume is not easy, after all, everyone has their own unique smell. I really recommend not buying blindly, as many are not that cheap. Of course, the most important thing is that after much searching, I think this one relatively fits the citrus notes I'm looking for. It really has the aroma of orange and tangerine peels! It's not cloying at all; it's not like fruit pulp, candy, or soda. It's a slightly bitter, refreshing, and tart scent! Many people also recommend Guerlain's Mandarin Basil, but I think it's more like grapefruit candy, sweet... Now that I'm older, I really don't like perfumes with such overt sweetness. This Prada fragrance is a linear fragrance, with minimal variation in top, middle, and bottom notes, just varying in intensity. The moment you spray it, you're greeted by a truly refreshing orange and tangerine aroma, a tart, refreshing rind with a hint of bitterness. As it dissipates, it becomes a hint of orange blossom, and finally settles into a slightly warm, soapy, grandma's fragrance. Of course, this kind of citrus fragrance has a short lasting effect and average sillage, but it's perfect for me. After all, I don't want to be too intrusive, so I just carry a refill bottle with me for replenishment. All in all, this is a very soothing summer citrus fragrance!
