Flight nylon is a fabric specifically designed for aviation and aerospace applications and is rarely used in ordinary clothing. Its high density makes it windproof and waterproof. When rain falls on the jacket, it doesn't immediately penetrate, but instead forms small droplets that slide off. This performance is a requirement for the development of modern jet aircraft.
